Marin County Waste Tires - San Rafael, California

The Marin County Waste Tires display provides the County's Community Development Agency with a portable tool for promoting their education and outreach programs about Waste Tires.

Through text and images, the display covers how tires are made, the environmental hazards of tire piles, clean-up programs and the various tire recycling uses including: rubberized asphalt, playground surfaces, garden and landscaping and retail products. Additional take-away literature gives visitors information about local waste tire programs.

The Waste Tires display is designed as a table-top, stand-alone unit built using sustainable products including agricultural biocomposites and FSC certified wood. The unit can be disassenbled into two smaller pieces for easy travel. The display is located at Marin County's Community Development Agency in San Rafael, California.
