The Florida Aquarium
In Collaboration with Sea Studios

The Florida's Living Reefs and Build A Reef interactive stations at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa allows visitors to take a simulated snorkel or dive through a coral reef, and to "build" a reef in order to learn about the marine communities.

The Florida's Living Reefs program allows viewers to snorkel and dive through a coral reef system giving them an opportunity to appreciate the particular characteristics associated with marine species that inhabit the shallow and deep coral reef structures. In the Build a Reef interactive program visitors have an opportunity to "build" and maintain a healthy coral reef by placing five factors (water temperature, substrate, light, water quality and species) into a schematic diagram based on the exhibit across from the station.
